Seriously folks, where did July (and the entire summer) go? Am I the only one who hasn’t made it to the pool yet this year? Gah!! Ok, rant over. Moving on.
We have had temperatures in the 100’s, with some torrential rains this week. It’s been pretty miserable outside during the day. Olivia worked at the museum two of those days, poor thing.
During the evenings it’s been a bit cooler and between rains, we’ve had time for s’mores. Yes, even in this hot weather, a little fire pit in the evenings is fun.
Next week is our last “free” week left in the summer. The week of August 10-14 is ballet performance camp (and pointe shoe fittings). August 17 regular ballet starts and we return to school as well. Did I already lament about the fast moving summer?
