Weekly Wrap Up - Goodbye February

I'm late in starting my wrap up this week, so now I have to go back into the dark corners of my mind to figure out what we actually did.   We added a fur baby to our mix for part of the weekend, and the early part of the week.  We decided he can be our school mascot.  Isn't Stan cute?

Monday morning Lindsey worked her nanny job from 8-12.  Olivia and I worked on laundry and house work and walked Stan.  Lindsey had most of her school work completed by the time she got home and only needed to do her online math and ASL when she got home.  Stan left around 7pm. I also shared our Junior Year Curriculum Picks for Lindsey on the blog.

Tuesday was Lindsey's long nanny day.  She worked 6:15am - 4pm.  The nanny job is within walking distance, but when it's dark I drive her.    I worked on everyone's taxes and showed Olivia how to do hers.  She technically didn't need to do a tax return, but she wanted to get all her money back, and I don't blame her.  The girls had jiu-jitsu in the evening.

Wednesday was Lindsey's only day off work this week.   She slept until about 7:30, then slowing migrated to the coffee pot and over to the dining room table to start her day.   She had her final exam in ASL, so that class is officially finished for the year, although she'll continue to review and practice.

Olivia got word that, due to an unprecedented number of applicants (over 250), she was not accepted for the internship she'd applied for in Idaho.  She had been so excited about this opportunity and was really looking forward to spending 3 months living in the back country on horseback.  I was SO proud of how she handled the news with such maturity and a good attitude.

Thursday was Lindsey's regular day with family #2.  While she was working I went grocery shopping and ran a few errands.  School work was completed along the way and so was the laundry.  Olivia worked at farm #3 in the afternoon. Temperatures jumped into the 60's!! Jiu-jitsu closed out the evening.

Friday ended up being "2020-the sequel" in several ways, which is why this post is very late.  Lindsey baby sat a sibling group here at the house, such cuties!!  I dropped Olivia off to work at farm #3 early and then went to lunch with my friend Yvette.  Right after lunch, the temperatures started to drop and things started going wonky on several different fronts at once. Snow moved in around 4pm and continues to fall. My heart hurts for people tonight, my mind wonders about other situations that will have to play out.

Have a good weekend!
