Still no “formal” learning this week. I spent most of my time working on spring cleaning the house. The girls have been playing games, reading, playing in the yard and watching videos. Yes, I let my kids watch tv, in their pajamas no less. In my defense, we don’t have cable. They have a limited selection of DVD’s and VHS movies to watch.
Lindsey’s baseball team finally had an opportunity to do team photos. Obviously, this one is NOT by the professional. However, taking a photo over the shoulder of the professional sometimes works nicely. There are 13 kids on the team. Normally 7 show up for games, but we got lucky and had 9 show up for the photo.
Olivia’s softball season is almost over. Only two more games are left in the regular season and then they have a tournament in June.
Ballet finished up this week. The girls opted not to do ballet summer camp (they want swimming lessons instead). So we’re dance free until September.
As far as weather goes, we were blessed with sunshine and warm temperatures until today. So thankful to have escaped this last round of bad storms. Please continue to pray for those who weren’t as fortunate.
