Seven short years ago I was watching news coverage of Hurricane Katrina and nursing my newborn daughter. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long ago, it seems like yesterday (or at least last week).
Maybe it’s because she’s my last “baby”. But 7 sounds so much younger than it did with Olivia. Maybe it’s because she is so much smaller than her sister was at this age. She just seems so much younger….and yet she’s so much more advanced than her 7 years.
She’s growing up so fast. So pretty. So spunky. If only I could freeze time for her. Photos will have to do, for she’ll be grown and gone before I know it.
