Amazement Square

This past weekend we took a road trip to a wonderful children’s museum named Amazement Square.  The drive was lovely, and best of all, there was an Olive Garden nearby.   Truthfully it was all about the restaurant for me, but the kids LOVED the museum.

Amazement Square has 4 floors of incredible hands on learning.  The fact that the museum houses the tallest indoor climbing structure in the nation, was a HUGE hit.  The indoor zip line kept Lindsey busy for hours!   I’m apparently horrible at action photos…I have lots of blurs on the camera, but no zip line action was recorded, sigh.

We spent most of our time in the James River exhibit and on Indian Island.   I’ve got lots of photos, so I’ll just lump them together by category and hope it makes sense.

This final photo is of the view from the 4th floor.  The James River is lovely in the spring.
