This week was the end of a lot of our extracurricular activities for the year. Ballet ended this week. We received the new schedules for the fall and found that Lindsey skipped two levels and is now only one level behind Olivia and they’ll be taking tap lessons together. Hoping Olivia doesn’t mind this intrusion!
Wednesday night was Lindsey’s first Awana Grand Prix race (car #2 below). She won her first race, but was defeated every time after that. She had fun with her friends and that’s all that really mattered.
Thursday was our last Activity Day of the year. We studied Queen Elizabeth II and had a lovely tea party.
Choir ended this week as well. We wrapped up with a lovely concert on Friday night. Lindsey had been ill with a headache all day and we were iffy as to her getting to go, but at the end she was able to pull it off, and it was wonderful!
