It’s nice to have a day where nothing is planned. Days like that are few and far between, sadly. We recently had one of those blessed days and took full advantage of spending time together as a family. A leisurely stroll to the park was just what the doctor ordered.
There’s something calming about feeding ducks and watching fish swim, and hearing children’s laughter.
The baby swans have reached the “ugly duckling” stage now.
The miniature train is huge hit.
When we’d had our fill of trains and ducks and fish, we walked over to the trolley stop and hopped on. We rode all around our town on the trolley. We met some nice folks, and some odd folks and we chatted with a weirdo or two.
It was a great do nothing day!
