Unshaken: Experience the Power and Peace of a Life of Prayer (Book Review)

We all know that we're living in uncertain times, when things can quickly change with little notice.   In Unshaken, Experience the Power and Peace of a Life of Prayer, authors Sally Burke & Cyndie Claypool de Neve direct you to the one thing in life that is ever steady, God.

This 11 chapter book is broken into four steps to help guide you in developing a stronger prayer life.  The book is divided into four parts:   Embracing the Unshaken Invitation, Praying for an Unshaken Foundation, Praying with Power and Peace, and Stories of Unshaken Inspiration.  There is also a study guide available, and both books lend themselves nicely to personal study or a group study.

Burke and Claypool de Neve both share personal experiences from their own lives, hard experiences.  They don't tiptoe around as though their lives are perfect, but rather openly share how a perfect God works miracles in the midst of our imperfect and often messy lives.   There are testimonies from other people as well, sharing their lives, losses and continued reliance on God during those times.

About the authors:
