Weekly Wrap Up - Christmas Play and Crafting

We had our first snow of the year this past Saturday.  It wasn't a big snow, maybe 2 inches at best.   But, it was a pretty snow that didn't lay on the road or cause any scheduling cancellations.   It was very Hallmark movie-ish.
Sunday was our churches Christmas program, it was one of those tongue-in-cheek programs that was funny, but still shared the Christmas message.   Olivia played Elizabeth, and Lindsey helped with costuming, stage, crowd control and whatever other areas popped up.

Monday we knocked out a lot of school work during the day.   Olivia have an away basketball game in the evening and Lindsey had sewing class, so the husband and I divided our efforts.  He took Lindsey to sewing so that he could hit the gym while she was there, and I drove out to Olivia's game.   I was sure glad I didn't let her ride the bus home, it broke down and didn't get back until almost 1am.

Tuesday I had to take a family member to a doctor appointment early in the morning.   The girls stayed home and worked on their lessons.   Then in the evening I had a volleyball coaches meeting, followed by basketball for Olivia.

Wednesday was pretty typical, just school and church.

Thursday we headed out to the chiropractor early.   Olivia's new orthotics were in and she was excited to get those.   The girls worked independently on lessons while I had a lunch date with a gal pal.  We tried a new little restaurant that was amazing.   Olivia had another basketball game in the evening and I ended up working in the concession stand.

Friday ended up being an all things Christmas day.   I made fudge early in the morning, then my brother came over and we all worked on Christmas ornament crafts.   After basketball the family loaded up and we went out to a live nativity that we enjoy every year.   (Getting a photo of these three without someone making a face was impossible....so you have a blurry photo...sigh.)
It was a busy, full week.   Memories were made, it was a good week.

  2. What a busy week but it looks like a lot of fun. We just moved from Montana to Arkansas and I am missing snow. Last year in Montana we were experiencing temps well below zero already.
