Weekly Wrap Up–Back to Normal

weekly-wrap-up

This was a regular week for us.   Olivia worked at the museum two days, but other than that we were home all week.   The monsoons ended and I spent one day mowing our yard and our neighbors yard.   The hedges were trimmed on one afternoon and then another day I spent four glorious hours working in my flower beds.   It’s been a lovely week in my world.

It’s hard to believe that we start back to school one month from today.   The summer has flown by, and I need to shift my mindset to get ready for academics, projects and all things school related.  (I already hit the back to school sale this week for supplies.)

If you’re still looking for curriculum ideas for the upcoming year, you may want to check out Curriculum Week at the Not Back to School Hop.

My last article and Home & School Mosaics went live this week.   If you have a middle or high school student, you may want to check out my article Concurrent Enrollment for High School Students.

    1. I haven't even made it to the pool this year! The kids have only been 3 times...shameful!

  2. I am pretty shocked at how fast our summer is flying! I haven't done much of my necessary summer planning! Not a great plan! I am glad you were able to get out in the yard. Someday I am going to have a yard that is all mine and I will have a flower garden and a veggie garden. Someday...

    1. You could do a little container garden or herb garden for a bit. I find gardening to be very relaxing, but it takes on a life of it's own at times. Thanks for stopping by, and never give up on you dream of having your own yard and garden!
