Oh yes, the season of pumpkin spice is upon us! While you sip your pumpkin spice latte (don’t even pretend it’s not true), the kidlets can have a little pumpkin spice fun of their own.
2 tsps. cream of tartar
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (or 1/4 tsp. cinnamon & 1/4 tsp. nutmeg)
1 tbs. cooking oil
Add all dry ingredients together in a medium sauce pan, mix well, then all the liquid ingredients. Cook several minutes over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Continue cooking until dough forms. Cool thoroughly and knead.
Store in an airtight container or ziploc bag to reuse later.
