Weekly Wrap Up - More Medical Issues

This was the third week of Olivia's summer job.  This was her last week with this group of kids.  She'll be on vacation next week (youth camp) and will be moved to a new location when she returns.   She's pretty happy this session is wrapping up, the kids have been completely wild this week and she's ready for a break.

Lindsey has picked up several new babysitting clients, so she's excited about that.  She really loves working with kids, and of course is excited to have cash in her pocket.  It looks like she'll have a weekly job providing childcare at Classical Conversations in the upcoming academic year.

My mother-in-law ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone most of the week.  Then on Wednesday I spent 8 hours at the ER (same hospital) with one of my family members with a blood clot.   It's been a long couple of days.  Everyone is home now, and even the neighbor's vertigo is totally gone now, so I'm hoping things stay calm.

Lindsey's still working two days a week at the museum.  However the new director over there is making changes that are not being received well by the staff or volunteers.  The latest being that the JLS kids can't work a full day anymore, only 4-6 hours.   This has not gone over well with the employees or the JLS kids.

We've not done anything school related this week.  The only thing left to do in that area is work out our fall schedule and the first few weeks of lesson plans.  However, I can't really work on that until we meet with the admissions folks next month at the community college and know what Olivia's schedule will be like there.

I hope your summer is going well.
