Weekly Wrap Up - Making Memories

My husband's work shuts down the week of Thanksgiving, so it's typically a school vacation week and a blending of Thanksgiving/Christmas activities.  We've spent the week Christmas shopping, visiting with Elvis, painting ornaments, ringing the bell, having a delicious Thanksgiving meal at my brother's house, and decorating our house for Christmas.   I won't bore you with all the details, but here are some photo high lights.

 I go back next week to pick up the ornaments, but here's what they look like before being glazed and fired.

Honestly, I don't like putting my tree up this early. However, I know our schedules will be pretty hectic from now until Christmas, so we do the decorating when everyone is home.
