Saturday, Olivia and I went to visit Bridgewater College again. We gained a lot of information that we'd not picked up on before, had a great lunch and stayed for their afternoon football game. The Eagles won, and we got to watch the presentation of the ODAC trophy and the traditional ringing of the bell for a game win.
Monday morning I had a graduation committee meeting. I feel like it's a two steps forward, three steps back progression, but I'm hoping it starts to come together soon. The girls completed their school work while I was gone. In the afternoon the girls finished helping the neighbors with their packing.
Tuesday morning Olivia had her college class, and Lindsey had her orthodontist appointment. Lindsey's teeth are moving pretty quickly and she jumped 2 sizes in wires this week; she was pretty uncomfortable the rest of the day. At 2pm we attended a funeral, I dropped Lindsey off at the museum at 3:30 and by 4pm Olivia and I were helping serve the after funeral meal for the family. In the evening the girls had jiu-jitsu and earned their first stripe on their belt.
Wednesday I had my 6 month dental checkup (no cavities, go me). Olivia has been putting in extra time on some of her subjects, and finished up her language arts for the semester. Lindsey finished up a sewing project for a customer. Between sewing and babysitting, Lindsey has managed to put over $1000 in savings since March. The moving truck came and loaded the neighbors belongings up and they headed off to their new home in another state.Thursday the girls worked on academics early. They typically do extra work Monday-Wednesday which frees them up more on Thursday & Friday. We headed out later morning to meet up with friends at the indoor trampoline park and then we all headed out to lunch. As you can see, Olivia was not at her best today.
Lindsey worked at the museum all morning/early afternoon on Friday. Then we traveled across the mountain to the girls fall athletic awards program at the private school. They gave each girl "quirky awards" based on personality and performance. Lindsey was awarded "Defense Ninja" and Olivia was "Iron Maiden"...too funny!
Have a great weekend!
So much exciting things going on. I am so glad our state Homeschool School Association has a large graduation at the state convention each year. All of our children graduate at it. I just started filling out the paper work for Dean, but it isn't anything like having to plan the entire thing. My heart goes out to you.

That sounds like such a full week. I love all the trampoline park pictures.
