Today during ballet class, one of the Moms was trying to figure out what type of snack and green show and tell activity to do for Awana this week. (Her daughter is in Lindsey's class.) I suggested that she combine the two, make a snack (cookies or cupcakes), and let her daughter tint it green by using yellow and blue food coloring . The show and tell part could be telling about mixing colors.
Four out of the five Moms exclaimed simultaneously "Homeschooling Mom!". They were smiling when they said it, so I'll take it as a compliment. And yeah, we're getting green cupcakes on Wednesday for St. Patty's day.
