Monday was a low key day with schoolwork getting knocked out pretty early. It was also the last day of archery for the season. This was "competition" week, so everyone was a bit more serious than usual. We won't find out until April 26 who had the top scores this year. After archery we went out with friends from class for milkshakes and fellowship.
Tuesday was my birthday. My brother brought my cake on Sunday (scheduling issues), so I had a piece of that for my breakfast. The kids worked on school work during the day while I went out to lunch with a family member. The husband got me these lovely flowers, and more sugary goodness (my keto way of eating has taken a real hit this week). We went out for dinner, so I was a happy camper (no cooking or clean up for me).
Wednesday, Olivia worked at the farm all day. Lindsey got her work finished pretty early and we puttered around the house working on puzzles and games. Olivia did her lessons after dinner.
Thursday was a gorgeous day. Olivia worked at the farm in the afternoon, and Lindsey and I worked in our garden getting the ground ready for planting. The trees and bushes are in full bloom and it's a lovely time to be outside. These Bradford pear trees are beautiful, but my goodness they smell horrible while in bloom.
The weekend is looking pretty full. Saturday, Lindsey has orientation for the new year at the museum, followed by a birthday party. Sunday will be a full day of church and youth group activities, and Olivia starts her newest cat sitting gig.
Happy Birthday! Sounds like you were nice and pampered as everyone should be on their special day. :)
