Tom was off work on Monday. After a mid-day trip to play with the dogs, we went out for an afternoon of bowling. I signed the girls up for the extended Kids Bowl Free program, which gives all kids under 18 two free games every day through November 24. Lindsey is still dealing with a shoulder that goes out of socket pretty easily, and her score reflected that in both games. We had a good time bowling together, then went out for a late lunch/early dinner at a sit down restaurant. It was almost "normal"!
Tuesday morning was our fall service check on the furnace/heat pump. No issues were found, so we're good to go for the winter. Olivia spent a bit of the day with the dogs mid-day. Lindsey plowed through her school work and then was off to volleyball and jiu-jitsu.
Wednesday morning Olivia headed off to the farm to work for a couple of hours and then looped around to tend to her canine friends. I went to the local book fair and picked up several Christmas gifts, and then swung by a local bakery for some sweets. Supporting that local economy ya'll! Church was at 7pm, Lindsey's volleyball didn't start to 8:30, so she had to kill 90 minutes before getting to play ball.
Thursday morning had us traveling to the farmer's market, and then looping back around to play with the dogs. Olivia went to the farm mid-day, and then at 3:30pm she had an interview at a local veterinary hospital. She should hear back next week about the job. Lindsey knocked out her class work, and had dinner on the table for everyone when we got home from interviewing and work. Volleyball and jiu-jitsu wrapped up our evening.
Friday has arrived...there's coffee, thank goodness. Today there's school, dog sitting, laundry and house cleaning on the agenda. If the rain holds off we will go to a corn maze this evening.
In case you missed it, I shared a recipe for Baked Potato Soup earlier in the week.
Have a great weekend!
I didn't realize they extended the Kids Bowl Free program this year. I know our local bowling alley has been really struggling. They are a fairly new business and they had sunk so much money into overhauling the facility. Sounds like a busy week.
ReplyDeleteGreat week. I hope Olivia gets the job. That sounds like a great fit.
