Weekly Wrap Up - Birthday Week

Saturday was lovely here in Virginia.  I was able to get a huge outdoor project knocked off my things to do list.  Sunday was rainy and windy, with some high winds that were a bit random and alarming wind that came and went without warning.

Monday Lindsey had two back to back nanny jobs, one from 9am-11am; the second from 11:30am-7:30pm.  She was one tired nanny when she got home.  She was a trooper and had all of her school work done too.  Lindsey was thrilled to see that her learner's permit arrived in the mail, so she's "official".  Olivia and I spent the early part of the day doing the spring cleaning in the living room, working on laundry and shopping on-line for vehicles, with no success.

Tuesday was Lindsey's regular long  work day from 7:30am-5:30pm.  Olivia went to farm #3, and I spent the day working on spring cleaning the sunporch.  I purged a few items as I went, I'm not big on clutter.  Everyone got home late from work, so we had to postpone dinner until after jiu-jitsu.

Wednesday everyone was out the door early for work.  Olivia was at farm #2, and Lindsey worked 10:30-2:30.  I worked on spring cleaning the kitchen, and purged things from that room as well.  My best friend sent me an early birthday gift, gourmet caramel apples.  She knows me well, and these were SOOOO good.

Thursday was a little varied on our schedule.  Lindsey worked 11:30am-1:30pm and Olivia had to work the afternoon shift at farm #1.  I got up early and went grocery shopping in order to get back in time for drop off/pickup.  Once everyone was retrieved, I worked on laundry.  Thankfully both of those rooms are small, and it's not a lot different than a regular cleaning other than washing the curtains, shower curtain and rugs.  Jiu-jitsu wrapped up our evening.

Friday morning was my birthday, and Olivia worked the early shift at farms #1 and #2.  Since it is so early when she goes to these two, I ride with her to keep her awake, she's not a morning person by a long stretch.  After we got home, there were birthday gifts waiting for me to unwrap, and then we all went out to breakfast.  Olivia drove herself to work in the afternoon.  While she was gone, my brother came by with my traditional homemade birthday cake.  This year he tinted the frosting purple (my favorite color).  So good!  We had a lovely visit, with the coolest gift, a book "The Story of My Life"....with writing prompts for me to write my life story!  The good, the bad, the odd...mercy.

I hope you all have had a good week.  Enjoy the weekend, as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus!
