This past weekend, a friend and I traveled a couple of hours to attend the Refresh Women's Conference at Park Valley Church in Gainesville, Virgina. If you are ever in that area and get an opportunity to attend any of their services or events, do it!! This was my first time hearing "Chewbacca Mom", Candace Payne speak. She's so funny, but has some pretty deep content.
On Monday, we were finally able to get our tomato and squash plants in the ground. We've had some late frosts this year, so I've been hesitant to get in a hurry. The plants might be a bit behind in their growth, but at least they haven't been killed by frost.
The rest of the week was a typical work, school, repeat for everyone. Except...Lindsey finished her last subject on Friday and is now officially a SENIOR!! We've almost completed our homeschool journey! How is that possible?
This weekend (tonight & tomorrow morning) we're participating in a used curriculum sale. I'm hoping this is a lucrative weekend and I get to move a lot of our old stuff out. I'll be posting items for sale next week here on the blog.
Have a great weekend!
Good luck selling your old curriculum! Congrats to your new senior.
