My Homeschool Grades - Review

Record keeping and high school transcripts are one of those things that can strike fear into the heart of the homeschool parent.  To make your life less stressful, I have an AMAZING product to share with you, My Homeschool Grades!   Let me share just a few of the things I love about it.

My Homeschool Grades is currently linked with boxed curriculum publishers such as Sonlight, Institute for Excellence in Writing, Alpha & Omega, ALEKS, Teaching Textbooks, Apologia, Rosetta Stone and Math-U-See. When I say linked with, I mean as you add the students course and choose for example Teaching Textbooks Algebra, it will automatically list the lesson numbers, tests etc. All you have to do is go in and add your students grades! More curricula will be added as the program progresses, however if the one you use isn’t listed you can simply choose “Other” and add the info by hand.   There is also a spot where you can request your current curriculum be added to the list!
Add an Activity (great for those extra curricular items).

Create a Transcript  (with a click of the button the work is done for you!)

You can quickly set up your entire school year, or go back and recreate past years. For past years you can enter the end of year grade instead of every single score.   My children are finishing up grades 4 and 2 this year.  In about 20 minutes I had rebuilt their academic records all the way back to pre-K!
The greatest thing?  You can EDIT.  Some programs I’ve used act as if you are carving in stone, once you’ve added it there’s no going back.  My Homeschool Grades allows you to edit everything, as often as you like.
My Homeschool Grades is by FAR the easiest, most user friendly online record keeping program I’ve ever seen!   This is one of the things I’d say are a must have!
