Yes, here we are in the midst of stage week for our spring recital. After enduring 3 hour practises every night this week, the girls will be performing in Alice in Wonderland both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The week has gone by quickly, with lots of last minute changes and such, but I think the cast is ready for the show, or at least ready to be done for the week.
Olivia is a rich girl in the opening park scene, and a flamingo. Lindsey is a park child, hedgehog and mushroom. Unfortunately, without the flash it was hard to get some action shots, but here are a few photos, including our Queen of Hearts and Alice.
In academics, we finished up Latin this week. The girls will have their final exam on Monday, but as far as lessons goes, we're done. Lindsey also finished math and spelling. Olivia has 2 new math lessons and then 10 review lessons and she'll be done with math. Once we get past the new lessons and the test, we'll double up on those review lessons and be done.
Don't miss the Kwik Stix giveaway I'm hosting! These solid tempera paints are amazing!

What a great week. We love show week. Ours is still a few weeks away and the kids will be performing in 8 shows over two weekends. I love the costumes and backgrounds. What a lovely studio.

This was my favorite recital that we've done. It was so much fun, and it was one I've never seen so it just made it all the better. Not to mention my kids both had a crazy amount of stage time this year!
