Weekly Wrap Up - Camp Week 1

Lindsey headed out on her first away camp this week.   She's been so very excited, and then the nerves set in Sunday night.  However, Monday she was up early and couldn't wait to get on her way.  She'll be back later today (Friday), and I'm sure she'll talk our ears off about everything, I can't wait!

I had some one on one things planned with Olivia for this week while Lindsey was gone, however, since we still have our in house patient with us, that had to be postponed.   We did do some gardening and weed pulling together (oooh, ahhhh, exciting).   We also worked on a few more art projects.

Olivia also worked two days this week at the museum.  Summer camp's are in full swing and she'd thought she would be helping with camp, but it turns out she ended up helping to build a chicken coop on the 1740's settlement, which she LOVED!   As you can see, she really gets into her work (those pants were light beige when she left for work).

On the blog this week I shared a review of A Teen's Guide to the Five Love Languages.  I highly recommend this one for your teens, and if you've never read any of Gary Chapman's books, you might benefit from it as well.

    1. She dearly loves it at the museum. It's a 2 year program, so her time will be up in December. I'm praying they ask her to stay another year (it used to be 3 years).
