The first week of July is gone ya'll, can you believe it?? Our 4th of July celebration was mostly a bomb, snicker. The temperature didn't make it out of the 70's and it rained the entire day, heavy rain. Our city still had all their scheduled activities, in the pouring rain. We didn't go to any of it this year, because sitting in pouring rain just isn't my idea of fun. Oddly enough, July 5 arrived with incredibly high temperatures, and crazy humidity. It's been sickening hot for the last part of the week.
My Momma turned 89 on July 1, and has been in the hospital most of this week. I've had little sleep or time at home. I got up Tuesday morning at 6am and didn't get back to bed until Wednesday around 10pm. Last night, or this morning depending on how you look at it, I didn't get home until after 12:30am.
This week has been crazy, and the blog has been quite, but I did share our

Hope your mom is feeling better soon. We too have had crazy weather. I spent Saturday July 2nd in a hooded sweatshirt & pants then by Wednesday we were dying from heat and humidity; even a tank top and shorts were "hot" then by Friday I was back to a hooded sweatshirt and capri pants....
