I skipped doing a wrap up post last week. There really wasn't a great deal to post about other than the kids' work and PT schedules. I did, hohwever, realize that I've forgotten to post spring flower photos, so I took a few pictures of my lilies in the back garden.
Monday both girls were out the door early to work (Lindsey worked 7:45-9am). After picking Lindsey up we headed to PT. The therapist said he's seeing improvement in her shoulder, so we're hoping the PT is all that needs to happen. After dinner, the girls and I went to our first Valley League baseball game of the season. This league hosts college players over the summer, with a pretty rigorous schedule of 36 games from June 5 - July 22. The bleachers were filled with families out enjoying the evening.
Tuesday both girls had their regular work day. Jiu-jitsu wrapped up their evening. Nothing overly exciting.
Wednesday was "hay day" at the equestrian center, meaning they got a huge hay delivery in. 600 bales of hay to be exact. Thankfully, the temperatures were a lot milder, so Olivia and her crew didn't completely melt while unloading and stacking that much hay. Lindsey did some early morning babysitting, then it was off to PT. We went to another baseball game in the evening, and we all bought dinner at the concession stand.
Thursday morning Lindsey bounced between two babysitting jobs. Olivia had a regular work day. I did my typical grocery and laundry day and jiu-jitsu wrapped up the evening. I baked some muffins while the kids were gone and they were a yummy treat after everyone was home.
Friday morning Lindsey and I were out the door early to head to the orthodontist to get her braces off. We had expected 2 years (or more) in braces, but she actually finished in 22 months. We celebrated with lunch from Chick-fil-a so that she could actually bite into the sandwich and not have to tear it up into little pieces.
Have a great weekend!
Yay for no more braces! Your lilies are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYay! That first meal without braces is always delightful and memorable. Another great week for the books.
