Intense Storms Called a "Derecho" Slam 700 Miles of the US
For those of you not in the affected area, please pray. Our town was hit Friday night a little after 9pm and it's like a war zone here. Trees, electric lines and debris are everywhere. Stores are closed because of power outages (in 100+ heat), ice is not available as of last night. We were without electricity for roughly 36 hours and it was miserable, but thank God we were protected and our home wasn't damaged. Just lots of debris to pick up from who knows where.
