Monday's lessons were done early. I traveled60 minutes north, by bus, with the middle school volleyball team to coach them in a play-in game for the state tournament. They were not successful, so their season ended. Lindsey traveled 2 hours south with the junior varsity team for the same reason, and with the same results. Volleyball is officially done. Olivia left again on another short farm sitting job for the week.
Tuesday Lindsey was on her own for school work and then she headed off to jiu-jitsu in the evening. I left early to meet up with my brother for an adventure. We drove into West Virginia to look at changing leaves and to enjoy the scenery. We went up into the Dolly Sods Wilderness area, and ended up doing some hiking and rock climbing. It was a wonderful day, lots of good conversation and beautiful scenery. We were both thoroughly exhausted when we parted ways later in the evening. Here are a few of the photos I took.
Wednesday was school, laundry and church. Olivia came home for the week.
Thursday morning, Olivia had a dentist appointment. Lindsey and I went grocery shopping after school work was completed. Jiu-jitsu wrapped up the evening.
Friday morning the girls and I had chiropractor appointments. We all got various parts put back into place. Now that volleyball is over, hopefully Lindsey's shoulder and knee will have time to heal properly. We did some shopping then headed for home. House work, and carry out pizza will wrap up our day.
